Melissa Benson is an E‑RYT 200, RYT 500, RCYS, and Reiki Master who brings a compassionate, trauma‑informed approach to yoga and holistic healing. Her teaching is rooted in her own transformative experience with yoga and the profound impact it had on her mental and physical well‑being—a journey that continues to inspire her work today.
Jenn (RYT200) lives in a constant state of energy and have been classified as the “energizer bunny” as she keeps going and going. Jenn's classes are filled with energy and positivity.
Jenn helps people to focus on what they like about themselves in order to hone in on the energy to create more appreciation for yourself and others. Jenn started practicing yoga for just that reason, she wanted to like herself physically, emotionally and spiritually. Yoga has helped Jenn to accept, live and breathe, embracing ALL OF HER!
Jenn is generous with praise and quick to smile in her classes. She will lighten your spirit and celebrate every achievement with you while bringing out positivity in all situations.
It is good to be alive, life is fun, and no matter what the setbacks, we must never lose our sense of gratitude. Jenn is thankful for her yoga practice and hopes to share her teaching gift with each class and student.
Krissy Zegers (ERYT200, YACEP) found yoga over 20 years ago when in college trying to find a 1 credit class that was going to be fun. Well, that was just the beginning! Krissy completed that first yoga training in 2003. Completing her first 200-hour training in 2008, and shortly after, her second. Since then, completed numerous other trainings to deepen her teaching. Some of those trainings include: Core Functional Fitness, numerous therapeutic yoga classes, yoga for perimenopause/menopause and so much more.
She likes to blend energy and functionality in the asana practice to help people discover what is possible in their bodies.

Arrive, meet your teachers, find your spot.
9:00 a.m. Vinyasa Yoga: Flow Into Fall
Begin the day by grounding into the present moment through a mindful Vinyasa practice inspired by the changing season. As nature transitions into a time of release and renewal, this energizing yet accessible flow will invite participants to let go of what no longer serves them while creating space for new intentions.
The practice will incorporate:

Breath-centered movement
-
Gentle strength and balance postures
-
Opportunities for reflection and intention setting
-
A calming closing meditation
Appropriate for all levels, this session is designed to awaken the body, quiet the mind, and prepare participants for a day of deeper self-exploration.
10 a.m. Enneagram Workshop
This workshop invites you to explore the inner architecture of your personality through the lens of the Enneagram. You’ll learn to identify your Enneagram type and use that insight to reveal the core motivations, patterns, and protective strategies that shape your inner world.
Together, we’ll look at how each type responds in moments of stress and expansion, offering you practical tools to navigate life with more clarity, compassion, and grounded self‑awareness. You’ll also discover how your Enneagram tendencies influence the yoga practices you naturally gravitate toward — helping you choose movement, breath, and stillness that support your unique path inward.
This session is designed to help you understand yourself more deeply, so you can move through the retreat — and your life — with intention, alignment, and a renewed sense of essence.
